Main meetings take place on the second Monday of each month in the

WI & Village Hall, Orchard Road, Arnside at 2:00 pm (unless otherwise stated)

13th July               Local author, voice over artist and narrator Tony Hunt – – will share insights into the                               relationships at the heart of his novel The Leaf Slide, set in the Lake District.

                             He will also perform a selection of songs written by the late, great Jake Thackray                                     accompanying himself on guitar.

10th August           PICNIC AND CROQUET - if fine- Garden or Hall from 1pm 

 

17th August           Arnside Knott ramble and picnic - start 6pm

                             Picnic at 'our tree' 7pm

14th  September      Open Meeting to share WI friendship crafting and baking. All welcome.

From 2pm on the fourth Monday of each month we have a social afternoon. Time to relax - an ideal opportunity for members and non-members to drop in for a chat, play games such as Scrabble or

Rummicub, stitch or knit, enjoy a cuppa and each other’s company.
